Are you an enthusiastic and qualified Teaching Assistant with a Level 3 qualification, looking for an exciting opportunity? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community and make a difference in children's lives.

This role offers the chance to support students' learning and development, collaborating closely with teachers and other staff to ensure a positive and effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• · Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child who has a physical disability
• · Provide support for them in reaching their academic goals, helping them to access the curriculum and participate fully in school life.
• · Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Promote independence, and contribute to a positive and nurturing learning environment.
• · Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs, particularly for children with additional learning requirements.
• · Help foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere and promote student well-being.
• · Monitor student progress and report to the class teacher, contributing to lesson planning and assessments.
• · Assist with classroom setup, ensuring resources are prepared and organised.

Requirements:

· A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).

· Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable.

· Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

· A passion for supporting children's educational growth and well-being.

· Patience, empathy, and an ability to adapt to various learning needs.

· Good organisational skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.

You will be expected to follow and promote the procedures in the child protection and safeguarding policy and report any concerns in accordance with agreed procedures.

If your own conduct in relation to the safeguarding of children and young people gives cause for concern the Trust’s child protection procedures will be followed alongside implementation of the Trust disciplinary procedures.

This post will require online checks to be undertaken and an enhanced DBS check, as well as medical clearance.

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary for the duration of child’s attendance at our school (anticipated to be 3 years)

31.25 hours per week (8:30am until 3:15pm, Monday to Friday)

To start: 2nd September 2025

Salary Range NJC SCP 5-8 / £24,790 to £25,992 per annum pro- rata

£17,928 to £18,798 per annum (actual salary)
