The Trinity Catholic Academy is a two form entry school situated in the heart of Vauxhall.

We are looking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor to supervise and support our children during lunchtimes.


We are looking for a person who is:

  • Supportive of the inclusive ethos of the school
  • Genuine in their desire to work with children
  • Enthusiastic, hard-working, with a sense of humour
  • Flexible and adaptable 
  • Able to work within a team
  • Able to set high expectations for themselves and children


Duties will be as follows:

  • Supervise children throughout the lunchtime period 
  • Help the children to eat their lunch
  • Help support good manners during lunch time
  • Help the children to be as independent as possible over this period
  • Clear the tables and ensure the eating areas/floors are clean and tidy
  • Get coats on and prepare for outdoor play
  • Escort children to play
  • Help with selected play equipment and supervise children at all times
  • Take direction from staff for indoor play if it raining
  • Support the children in their play activities and cooperation with each other. It is a valued learning time for out pupils.
  • Support children to return to class and prepare for the afternoon sessions
  • Administer basic first aid where appropriate and log incidents
